a thirsty crow that finds a pitcher with a little water, cannot reach the liquid, and cleverly drops pebbles inside to raise the water level

One hot summer day, a crow felt very thirsty. He flew far and wide looking for water, but he could not find any. He felt weak and almost lost all hope.

Suddenly, he saw a water pitcher under a tree. He flew down fast and looked inside. There was some water at the bottom, but the pitcher had a narrow neck. The crow tried to push his head in, but his beak could not reach the water.

The clever crow did not give up. He looked around and saw small pebbles on the ground. He had a good idea. He picked up the pebbles one by one with his beak and dropped them into the pitcher.

As each pebble went in, the water level rose bit by bit. Soon, the water came up to the top. The crow drank the cool water and felt happy. He flew away with joy
